After teasing and testing, the Facebook-owned photo-and-video-themed social network is pushing out a new way of sharing multiple images to all users.
The new feature allows Instagram users to group together 10 images or videos as a single post and share it with friends or followers. Upon receipt, they’ll be able to spin through the images like a carousel.
Though it may sound gimmicky, the new feature opens up a whole new dimension for Instagram’s 600 million-plus active daily users who might want to tell a visual story or provide how-to guides, or simply upload and share every image from a family function in one go with one caption.
To start sharing multiple photos in a single post, just download the latest version of the Instagram app, version 10.9. JB
