Remember the time Filipino netizens went bonkers with Justin Trudeau’s unbearably good looks at the APEC Summit? Turns out that even Americans and Canadians themselves have unloaded their artillery of heart emojis for the heartthrob Canadian Prime Minister.
Over the weekend, shirtless and dapper photos of a young and long-haired Trudeau surfaced on social media, making netizens swoon, giggle and blush like high-school girls.
“Young Justin Trudeau has set a new standard for politicians everywhere,” one user captioned her tweet of Trudeau’s snaps.
Another user morphed a split-screen photo of Trudeau and former US Vice President Joe Biden decades ago.
“Young Trudeau could spill soup in my lap and I would apologize to him,” another mesmerized Twitter fan raved.
In 2015, leaders from all over the world flew to Manila for the two-day Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Summit. Trudeau, 43, was tagged by Filipinos as an “APEC hottie” together with Mexican president Enrique Peña Nieto.
