In solidarity with victims of the terrorist attack, several landmarks across the world paid their respects by flashing the colors of the country’s Union Flag.

Photos of the noble gesture began circulating on social media on Thursday, starting with the city of Tel Aviv in Israel turning their city hall red, white and blue on one side, with the Israeli flag on the other.

Paris, meanwhile, promised to shut off the lights of the iconic Eiffel tower as a way to pay homage to the unfortunate lives lost. The city also suffered similar extremist attacks in recent years.
