Infamous torrent site The Pirate Bay will soon be turning 13. To commemorate this occasion, internet entities such as Torrentfreak have been checking the oldest torrents that have been continuously active since 2003.
As per Kotaku, a list made by TorrentFreak cites the games “Prince of Persia” and “Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow” as two of the oldest continually active torrents since The Pirate Bay went online.
This means that for over a decade, at least one person has been sharing these torrents on the internet. The oldest torrent in the world however belongs to a copy of “The Matrix”.
Of course, this still counts as piracy. But anyone still in Ubisoft who worked on these games probably deserves a good pat on the back, because people are still into the games they made a decade since release. Alfred Bayle/JB
