WATCH: Pigeon flies into man’s face during roller coaster ride

A man left the newly opened Ferrari Land amusement park in Tarragona, Spain, smeared in blood after a pigeon slammed his face.

In a YouTube video that has amassed more than a million views as of Tuesday, the adrenaline junkie and his friend jumped into one of the park’s main attractions, the Red Force roller coaster. While savoring every second of the thrilling ride, a pigeon suddenly knocked his face.

Noticing a wound on his cheek, he told his friend about it and rose his hand for the remaining seconds of the ride. It was unclear if the pigeon survived the episode.

To replicate the success of Ferrari World in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, the Italian sports car company partnered with PortAventura World to build the €100 million (P5.2 billion) theme park, which opened last week.

The 112-meter-high Red Force, known as Europe’s fastest roller coaster, accelerates at a speed of 180 kph and lets thrill seekers experience the killer speed exerted by Formula One superstars. Aside from the Red Force, two other red-hot attractions are in store for tourists—Flying Dreams and Racing Legends.  Gianna Francesca Catolico /ra
