While many thrill-seekers spent their Holy Week piling up picturesque beach posts on their social media accounts, one quirky netizen joined the trend by posting his own travel video shot inside his humble home.
In a Facebook video that has been getting hits since Saturday, Jay Oesja documented his “staycation” by touring netizens through his bedroom, kitchen, living room, bathroom and backyard. To make his travel clip more catchy, he accompanied it with Imagine Dragons’ song “On Top of the World” and poked fun at GoPro-recorded clips by millennials and travelers.
“Wala lang ako[ng] magawa noong Sabado de Gloria. Then, nag-try lang ako gumawa ng kalokohan na video (I had nothing to do last Black Saturday. Then, I tried to make a funny video,” Oesja told INQUIRER.net, noting that his video went viral after failing to notice that it had been shared with the public on the networking site.
Oesja’s video has gone “on top of the world” with 972,000 views and 32,000 likes as of this writing. Gianna Francesca Catolico /ra
