One of the most prolific one-two-punch duos in NBA history has reunited. Well, sort of.
To promote Shaquille O’Neal’s designation as the new cover of the upcoming NBA 2K18 Legend Edition, recently retired superstar Kobe Bryant appeared in a hilarious video alongside his favorite “frenemy.”

As seen in a 43-second clip uploaded on multiple social media platforms, “The Big Aristotle” was speaking in a press conference to address the cover.
While reading from a teleprompter, Shaq thanked his family, his coaches—and much to his surprise—even his former Los Angeles Laker teammate.
Bryant is then revealed to be the one typing Shaq’s speech.
“And perhaps, most of all, I’d like to thank Kobe Bryant.” a bewildered Shaq read.
“He was an NBA 2K legend cover athlete first. He’s so awesome and handsome and has and has really nice, natural teeth,” Shaq said, followed with “Wait, what?!”
Kobe might have gotten the last laugh, but Shaq vowed “payback” by the video’s end.
The pragmatic pair, who’s had a love-hate relationship throughout their iconic pairing with the Lakers in the 2000s, are now both retired and seem to be in good terms with each other.

The NBA 2K18 legend edition, meanwhile, will come in two versions, standard and gold, Bleacher Report said.
The former features a multitude of freebies including 20 weekly MyTeam packs and an array of O’Neal-related bonuses, while the latter will offer 250,000 Virtual Currency, with additional O’Neal-related items.
The NBA 2K18 Legend Gold Edition is now available for pre-order and is expected to hit stores on Sept. 15. Khristian Ibarrola /ra
