See your eyes glow, thanks to the latest aesthetic innovation of LED eyelashes.
Dubbed “Fun, interactive LED lashes” or F.lashes, these lashes that light up have different modes of movement that can be switched through a controller clipped at the back of one’s head.
“There ARE thin wires that connect to each eyelash, but they are nearly invisible unless someone is close to you. (If they are that close, I suggest you give them a kiss.),” designer Tien Pham says cheekily.
The lashes will be available in pink, red, blue, light blue, white, yellow and green. Pham demonstrates the fun eye accessories here:
For those questioning their safety, the company says they are just like regular false eyelashes which you apply with eyelash glue. They are also not blinding: “I often can’t tell I have them turned on. I have to cup my hand over my eye to see the light.”
The lashes also do not emit heat, as they are powered by a 3.3 volt watch battery that lasts up to four hours and can be switched out as needed.
