Looks like Christmas came early this year for PC gamers of the hit “Payday” video game.
The developer of the cooperative first-person shooter (FPS) heist franchise, Overkill Software, has made 5 million copies of “Payday 2” available on Steam completely free of charge.
The studio’s generous offer is a way for gamers to be enticed to avail themselves of the game’s upcoming major DLC (downloadable content) called the “Ultimate Edition” package. The update will feature an all-in version of all previous DLCs and other new features which will go for $45 (P2,225), PC Gamer reports.
Currently, all existing DLCs have been removed in preparation for the massive update, which will roll out soon.
