WATCH: Xbox One X revealed at E3 2017, to be released November

Previously known as “Project Scorpio,” tech company Microsoft finally unveiled its latest gaming console to the audience who attended the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2017, an annual trade fair for the video game industry.

The new console is officially called Xbox One X, and Microsoft is planning to launch it worldwide on November 7. It will be priced at $499 (roughly P25,000).

The Xbox One X is being positioned as a top-of-the-line gaming console which is claimed to have 40 percent more processing power than any other console out in the market. It was built for handling Ultra HD 4K resolution video and game content.

Apart from Ultra high resolution gaming, the Xbox One X is also equipped with an Ultra HD Blu-ray drive. It also has 1TB of internal storage.

All existing Xbox One games will be fully playable on the Xbox One X. Players should enjoy faster loading times and better performance on the more powerful game console. All existing Xbox One accessories will also be compatible with the Xbox One X.

There are several launch titles, as well as enhanced versions available to new owners of the Xbox One X. These games include “Crackdown 3”, “Forza Motorsport 7”, “Sea of Thieves”, “Gears of War 4”, “Forza Horizon 3”, “Minecraft”, “Resident Evil 7”, “Final Fantasy 15” and “Rocket League”.
