Part of the launch titles for Microsoft’s new game console the Xbox One X, ‘Forza Motorsport 7’ (FM7) hopes to give gamers a taste of the Ultra HD 4K gaming experience.

Thanks to the hardware encased in the Xbox One X, FM7 will be able to run on UHD 4K at 60 frames per second on a compatible UHD TV.

The trailer also shows the amount of detail that gamers can expect, such as dynamic weather effects, water droplets and stains on the windshield, dirt marks on the car’s paint job, even the stitching on the driver’s jumpsuit.

The Verge reports that FM7 will feature 700 cars, 30 tracks and locations, with 200 different layouts including Dubai, a new character mode with 300 designs, and the return of the Mugello track which last appeared in FM4.

Forza Motorsport is a racing video game series made by Turn 10 Studios and published by Microsoft for the Xbox gaming console system. The first game in the series was released on the original Xbox in May 2005.

“Forza Motorsport 7” will be released on October 3, one month ahead of the Xbox One X. Alfred Bayle/JB
