New free app made for lovers of London architecture

The United Kingdom’s Architecture Foundation is launching a free app which explains the architectural significance of over a thousand buildings.

The “London Architecture Guide” app is packed with information on the city’s architectural heritage. It can be downloaded from iTunes.

The app has an interactive map locating the most significant buildings in the city, and includes a photo and a critical text for each one. It also provides essays on the history of London’s architecture and event listings of upcoming talks.

The app will receive updates and new buildings will be added on a regular basis. JB
