The United Kingdom’s national weather service, Met Office, got into the Halloween spirit when its weatherman presented the daily forecast even after “losing his head.”

Met Office shared their little Halloween treat (or trick?) on Twitter. As if nothing had gone amiss, the weatherman pulled himself together as he gave a heads-up of the day’s weather.

Netizens appreciated the post and left comments to show their support.

Met Office also modified the names of some places to make them sound spooky. Some of these names include “Liverghoul” (Liverpool), “Belfangs” (Belfast), “Lerwitch” (Lerwick), and “Southaunton” (Southampton).

Another clip showed how they created the visual illusion. With the help of a stand-in to hold the head and some green screen magic, Met Office created a decapitated weatherman for Halloween. Turns out two heads are still better than one. JB
