Christmas is truly the season of giving back and sharing the love. In the spirit of creating new traditions and ways of helping others, Globe encourages its customers to use their Rewards points to support a bigger cause. This provides customers a new opportunity to share their advocacies not limited to cash donation and volunteering during the Holidays.
The HERO Foundation is a non-stock, non-profit organization, that has been providing educational stipends to military orphans. The financial support helps keep these children in school as it covers much needed requirements such as school supplies, transportation, meals and even a portion of their tuition fee.
“Recognizing the importance of education, we found HERO Foundation as the perfect partner to collaborate with. Globe Rewards points can be our customers’ way of supporting the children of our brave fallen soldiers and help them get the education they deserve,” says Globe Senior Vice President for Consumer Mobile Business, Issa Guevarra-Cabreira.
For Globe Prepaid, Postpaid and TM customers, they can just download the Globe Rewards mobile app via Google Play or Apple Store and click on DONATE. For as low as 10 points, they can help children finish their education and pursue their dreams. All donations will go a long way as Globe Rewards pledges to match the amount of points raised until Dec 22.
In line with the launch of its Star Wars campaign Create. The Hero Within Globe has also given its customers different opportunities to support HERO Foundation. Alongside using Globe Rewards points, other customers who renewed their postpaid or Platinum plans also got a chance to donate.
