Facebook will be vamping up its “Stories” with a new set of features.

The social media site will roll out three new updates for users, as reported by TechCrunch. One new feature to be introduced is the option to be able to archive Stories, similar to Instagram Stories and Snapchat’s “Memories”. Users can now save them even after their photo or video Stories surpass the 24-hour mark.

Users also now have the option to store their archived “Stories” directly to the social media platform, in case they do not have enough phone storage.

Audio clips can now be shared by users. They may now record their voices and customize it by adding colorful backgrounds, emojis and even photos.

Facebook Stories’ new features will be first tested in India before global roll-out. Katrina Hallare/JB
