Google search just got better as it will roll out new features, such as an easier way to see local events to help you discover happenings based on your interests.

When you type things such as “events near me” or “free concerts,” you will not only see the events from a number of sites, but their information as well. This was revealed in a blog post for Google on Thursday.

By tapping the event, you will get to see details such as time, location and other details. It has also been made easier to share details of the event with friends.

And while browsing events, users can click the “For You” tab that has a personalized idea of what events you prefer to attend. It will show you the latest and trending events happening near you.

The new features will roll out in the next few days in the US. It is unclear whether the updates will be made available globally.  /ra
