Leopard rescued from drowning in a 30 ft deep well in Maharashtra

A leopard trapped in a well 30 feet deep has been rescued by wildlife personnel in Maharashtra, India.

Animal rescue organization Wildlife SOS staged the rescue of the big cat.

This video from Wildlife SOS via Storyful, posted on October 6, shows how rescuers lowered a ladder to help the female leopard out of the water before she then climbed into a crate and out of the well.

The leopard was brought to Manikdoh Leopard Rescue Centre to recuperate following the ordeal. JB
