Macaulay Culkin is not home alone anymore, all thanks to Google Assistant.
Culkin brought back his iconic role as Kevin McCallister in a reenactment of “Home Alone” for a Google commercial, as seen on YouTube Wednesday, Dec. 19.
Fans may feel nostalgia on seeing Culkin, now 38, suddenly act like his 9-year-old character again. Only this time, technology was there to help Culkin as he was informed he had the house to himself.
Being all home alone became a breeze for Culkin, as he had assistance from Google Assistant to help him with all he was going to do—from reminding him to change the bed sheets to warming up his home.
And when it comes to the pesky duo “The Wet Bandits” trying to take a peek at his house, Culkin does not have to pull strings anymore. Instead, Google made his job easier by tricking the thieves that his family is home.
In his interview with Ellen DeGeneres back in April, Culkin explained why he refused to do his iconic face in the movie, and revealed that he has not watched “Home Alone” in 15 years. /ra
