MANILA, Philippines — Far from the usual job of guarding a pet store, a security guard dogsat a 1 month old chow-chow while on duty in Mandaluyong City.
The uploader of the video, Isabel Kae Castro, identified on Sunday the security guard that cradled the dog as Armando Gulla.
She said that it was not a usual sight at the Vets In Practice Animal Hospital to see a guard holding a pet.
“I find it cute and overwhelming, because we never had a security guard like him before,” Castro told INQUIRER.net in a chat exchange.
Castro caught on her cellphone camera the moment that Gulla was babysitting the chow-chow out of his own free will.
She said that it happened last February 20 around 11 a.m..
“Pwede naman po inside ang pet, since po mamimili pa po ng dog food ung owner po, nag prisinta po si Chief na buhatin nia po muna ung pet po ng client namin,” she said.
Gulla, according to Castro, has been serving the vet hospital for one month and seven days already.
She described Gulla as a person that is fully fit for the job as a guard of the vet clinic.
“Si Chief Arman, as our new guard, nabigay niya po yung satisfaction na hinahanap po ng company namin — well assisted po mga clients namin, nag ggreet po siya sa mga client, and yung bonus po is animal lover po si Chief Arman,” she said.
The video of Castro already received more than 23,000 Facebook reactions, shared by more than 12,900 people, and garnered more than 2,300 comments as of this writing. /je
