MANILA, Philippines — The era of technology and the internet has given birth to YouTube content creators using the online platform to express themselves and their talent, inspiring many people in the process.

Some of them are in Manila to treat their fans in the biggest installment yet of Youtube FanFest which will happen Sunday night at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Among those who will face the Filipino crowd is choreographer Matt Steffanina, one of the most followed dancers in the world with more than 10 million subscribers on the platform.

While it is not his first time to be one of the acts at the YouTube FanFest, Steffanina said he has something new in store for his fans, which he has yet to do onstage.

“Ive performed here the last two years and I was doing some sort of a dance piece but this year I’m also doing a collaboration with AC [Bonifacio] and Kenneth [San Jose] which is probably what I am most excited about just because I have been dancing with them so many times now but never on stage together it’s going to be really fun,” Steffanina said in a roundtable interview at the Hyatt City of Dreams Manila.

Siblings Ranz Kyle and Niana Guerrero, who have a combined view count of more than 1.1 billion in their videos, also expressed their excitement to meet and perform in front of their fans.

“We’re so excited to see them again. We’ve been through a lot of YouTube FanFests — this is maybe the fifth time — so we’re really excited to show our performance to them and meet our followers,” Ranz Kyle said.
