Skype released a collection of new messaging features last Thursday, Aug. 29, designed to both boost productivity and “enrich your chat experience.”
Like most other chat tools and services, Skype will now save unsent messages as a draft within the corresponding conversation feed and tag each as a “[draft].” Likewise, users can now bookmark any message they like within the platform to find it more easily at a later time.
Lastly, the split window feature for Windows 10 announced earlier this year has finally begun rolling out. This allows for all conversations to optionally open up in separate windows.
All these new features — except the split window option — are available on all versions of Skype. The split window feature is only available on desktop versions of the application. RGA/JB
