Inspired by the popularity of social networking sites, the Catholic Church’s social communications arm has launched its very own portal that aims to boost communal connectivity among tech-savvy Filipino Catholics.
Radio Veritas launched on Easter Sunday the website “CathoLINK” (https://veritas846catholink.org), the country’s first faith-based social networking portal, where users can share their faith by exchanging views, messages, photos and videos. The launching marked the radio network’s 43rd anniversary.
Lany Cabral, Radio Veritas social communications head, said in a statement that the Easter launch is a means “to profess that Christ is truly alive in our social media.” Jocelyn R. Uy
