Apple crowned world’s most valuable company

SAN FRANCISCO – Culture-changing technology outshined crude oil on Wednesday with iPhone and iPad maker Apple eclipsing ExxonMobil as the most valuable company in the world based on the value of its stock.

Despite an overall dismal day on the stock exchange, Apple ended trading with its stock priced at $363.69 per share for a total “market capitalization” of $337.2 billion.

ExxonMobil’s stock price slipped to $68.03 per share to give the international petroleum giant a valuation of $330.8 billion.

Apple dethroned software giant Microsoft in May of last year to become the largest US technology company in terms of market cap — the number of shares outstanding multiplied by the stock price.

Apple stock has risen steadily over the past few years as chief executive Steve Jobs piloted the release of a string of hit products starting with the iPod in 2001, followed by the iPhone in 2007 and the iPad last year.

Apple’s ascension to most valuable company was seen as remarkable given that the California company was floundering and seemingly heading into oblivion before Jobs returned to the helm about 15 years ago.

The Iphone is not the best phone. There are better one’s out there. The Iphone is all marketing and packaging. These phones are made in factories in China were workers commit suicide.

Android Phones in Taiwan, South Korea and in Japan are technically superior, at least hardware-wise, to iPhone 4. With the Android OS 2.2 and 2.3.3, the 2nd quarter of 2011 saw a worldwide pattern of one iPhone sold for every 3 Android phones.

The camera and video system of android phones are far superior than iPhone-4. When iPhone4 was release with 5Megapixel camera, Android Phones has 8Megapixels and have ISO400-800 and anti-shaking compensator.

Most Android sold in the Japanese market since January 2011 are water-proof. Some models can make you can even submerge them in a basin or toilet bowl. One model, Sharp Phone can take 3D images and can record 3D videos.

iPhone4 will be broken even from the saliva of your baby or moderate rain hitting your pocket with iPhone in it.

The more Apple you buy, the more Chinese slaves will be suffering in FoxConn factory in southern CHina but the richer the Chinese Communist Party which in turn can make or buy sophisticated military hardware.

With the rapid advancement of Andorid, the Apple moves is not to compete head-to-head in innovation, but by LITIGATION.

When we talk about innovation….there is no company like Apple at all. Steve Jobs is an innovation and visionary guru. “Think outside the Box” i believe is not just the company’s motto but actually their driving force and their lifestyle. How can you be ahead of the game with their products from Ipod when everybody was using portable CD players and Minidisc players? How come you can be better than Microsoft Windows when 80% of the worlds PC is powered by it during it’s peak? How come you can visualize a real hand-held tablet while all the laptop makers are pushing a tablet-laptop combo (swivel screen notebook computer). THIS IS INNOVATION at it’s finest ladies and gentlemen. Yes there are also misses along the way such as Apple TV but that’s how the visualization works…..hit and miss. The main thing is they have more hits than miss. Macbook Air is ahead of it’s time and really a niche market for road warriors and frequent traveler and it won’t be a mainstream product like Ipods, Ipads, Macbooks and iMacs.

I converted to Apple since 2004 with my 12-inch iBook G4 and 7 years later it’s still working and being used by my 7 year-old daughter for web-surfing and iTunes syncing with her 2007-version Ipod Nano. I failed to mention that I never had any virus, trojans with this iBook ever since while running it WITHOUT anti-virus at all.

I bought my 1st Mini-Ipod in 2005 and I’m still using it until now in my car. Best example for good investment and reliability in a fast changing world of technology.

7-years after I discovered the Apple experience, we now enjoy our array of investment (iBook G4, iMac, Macbook Pro, Mini-Ipod, Ipod Nano, Ipod Touch and Ipad 2). All of them are working and nothing crashed or gave us any problem.

Saying this, I can say Apple should really be awarded “World’s Most Valuable Comapany” hands down.

“Apple crowned the world’s most valuable company.”

But not for long. Windows Phone 7 and Nokia are waiting for Android to be defeated
in a Microsoft-Apple-Oracle versus Google patent litigation. Once the Windows Phone 7 and Nokia
tandem start to gain market share, it will do so with no let up until Apple’s iPhone becomes a distant
    second place.
