Video of hunk ophthalmologist goes viral, makes netizens swoon
Filipino netizens have found its new eye candy in a hunk ophthalmologist.
A video of Dr. Mark Agas, an ophthalmology resident at St. Luke’s Medical Center, surfaced on the Internet and went viral after he was mentioned in the Far Eastern University (FEU) Secret Files Facebook page.
The 28-second video showed Agas working in front of a computer and talking to his patient who was taking a video of him.
Meanwhile, the Facebook confession, made by someone with a code name “Future Lawyer,” was posted last April 18. The Facebook user narrated the experience of the consultation with the 32-year-old doctor.
“Nagpa-check up ako kanina sa st lukes, nanglalabo na kasi mata ko dahil sa pagbabasa. Anyways, Law student here. So yun, pag dating ko ng St. Lukes dinala agad ako sa isang opthalmologist. Pag open niya ng pinto niya… BOOM! PAK NA PAK! WALANG HALONG KEME, WALANG HALONG CHENES! Napaka gwapo nung doctor OMG! Huhuhu! Biglang luminaw ang mata ko nung nakita ko siya. Grabe! Dr. Mark Agas ung name ni Doc. Kitang kita ko hahaha! So un, chineck niya mata ko, binigyan niya ko ng preferred na grado ng salamin then yun,” the Facebook user said.
The Facebook post spurred netizens to look for photos and dig information about Agas and express their admiration for the doctor.

Facebook user Gwen Lim said “Doc, lumalabo na ata mata ko, check ko nga kung may pagtingin ako sa’yo.” While IJ Lim wished to see Agas for a session: “Doc, napuwing po ako. pahipan naman po.”
However, hearts started breaking when netizens soon learned that the hunk doctor is currently in a relationship with University of Santo Tomas (UST) medical student and print model Kara Gozali.
The confession was “liked” by 13,887 people and was shared 560 shares as of posting time.
Agas obtained his undergraduate degree in UP Diliman and his medical degree from UST in 2011. He became an intern at the Cardinal Santos Memorial Medical Center in 2012.
Aside from being an ophthalmology resident in St. Luke’s Medical Center, Agas is also a model managed by Mercator Models Management and has been featured in certain print advertisements and magazines like the Philippine edition of Cosmopolitan magazine. AJH
