Visiting Philippine government officials took a break from their duties to try several exotic street delicacies in Beijing, China.

Public Works and Highways Undersecretary Karen Jimeno has been documenting their official visit to the Chinese capital in her Instagram account by posting snaps of their meetings and dialogues with their Chinese counterparts. In addition, she shared her sumptuous culinary adventure when she and other officials tried several street snacks.

One of the unique treats they chewed on were scorpion kebabs sold in Wangfujing Snack Street, a famous shopping hub for tourists. Jimeno filmed their one-of-a-kind “food tripping” on the social networking site on Tuesday.
