Apple announced it would release a new color for the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus: yellow.
That means you can choose six colors for your new Apple smartphone: purple, blue, starlight, midnight, Product Red, and the new yellow.
You may preorder the yellow iPhone 14 on March 10, but it will become available on March 14.
What are the features of the yellow iPhone 14?
Bob Borchers, Apple’s VP of Worldwide Product Marketing, shared a few words about the flagship product’s new color:
“People love their iPhone and rely on it every day for all that they do. Now, there’s an exciting addition to the lineup with a new yellow iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus.”
Aside from the new color, the 14 and 14 Plus have the same specs featured in the 2022 Apple Event.
- 6.1-inch screen for iPhone 14 with Ceramic Shield
- Enhanced Workout Summary
- Super Retina XDR Display
- All-day battery life
- A15 Bionic Chip
- 12MP Main Camera and an Ultra-Wide Camera.
- Meanwhile, the front has a TrueDepth camera.
- Photonic Engine improves low-light photos.
- Emergency SOS is free for two years on iPhone 14.
The iPhone 14 camera has two interesting features: Action and Cinematic mode. Action mode adjusts the camera’s shakes and motions to ensure stable recording.
For example, let us say you want to take a video of your child running a marathon. Consequently, you must run to focus the camera on your kid.
Activate Action Mode, and your footage will steadily focus on your son or daughter. On the other hand, aspiring moviemakers may appreciate Cinematic mode.
It lets the iPhone 14 camera focus on different layers of a shot. For example, it may focus on a person and then blur the subject to focus on the background instead.
It could help filmmakers shoot scenes for drama movies or other stories that highlight character interactions.
Lastly, the iPhone 14 uses satellites to send emergency SOS messages so that people can call for help in areas with low or no signal coverage.
