CEO Tim Cook hosted the latest Apple Event on September 8, 2022. It played live on YouTube and featured the upcoming Apple products. Cook started by discussing the seamless integration between Apple Products.

Then, Cook proceeded to talk about the Apple Watch. The scene transitioned to a montage of testimonials regarding the Apple Watch.

Apple Watch Series 8

This is the Series 8.

The segment explained several new features, such as an always-on screen and visual themes. The Apple Watch Series 8 also has temperature sensors near your screen and under the display.

It takes samples every five seconds to deliver accuracy by 0.1 degrees. Also, it provides ovulation estimates and monitors cycle deviations to help female users with family planning

The ovulation cycle tracker ensures end-to-end data encryption to prevent Apple from checking user health information. Moreover, Series 8 will have Crash Detection.

The feature will send an SOS to emergency services and specific contacts if you get into a car accident. Also, the Apple Watch Series 8 will have an 18-hour battery life.

You could extend it by 36 hours with the Low Power Mode, but it disables features like the always-on display. The latter shows the time, date, and notifications, even if you do not turn on the screen.

The Apple Event 2022 video capped off with the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max. It focused on professional photography features like the Apple ProRAW and Action Mode. 

The former allows photographers to take images at 48MP. Meanwhile, the latter enables them to shoot videos steadily, as if using a gimbal stabilizer.
