Android 15’s upcoming features and release date

What are Android 15’s features?
- Partial screen sharing: It lets users share or record an app window instead of their entire screen.
- Satellite connectivity support: The pending OS will enable users to send messages via satellites, even outside emergencies.
- Notification cooldown: This feature reduces the notification sounds so that users won’t feel overwhelmed by hearing too many.
- In-app camera controls: Android 15 will let developers add features to their apps that boost camera brightness and adjust flash strength.
- Universal keyboard vibration control: The operating system will let users turn off or on key vibration for all keyboard apps.
- Sensitive notifications: Android 15 will prevent malicious apps from reading your one-time passwords. As a result, it keeps two-factor authentication secure.
- Bluetooth popup dialog: Users may toggle Bluetooth with the Quick Settings tile.
- Auracast focus: Auracast lets phones transmit audio to an unlimited number of receivers, such as speakers and earbuds. This Android 15 feature will make it easier to use.
- High-quality webcam mode: Users can increase webcam quality by tapping the HQ icon.
- Health Connect: It is a fitness app that will provide various health data.
The upcoming OS version will likewise have loudness control, HDR headroom, and additional controls for foldable phones.
Android Authority said Google names its operating systems with dessert codenames and that Android 15’s is Vanilla Ice Cream. According to Digital Trends, Android 15 will likely launch in late 2024.
