How to hide your phone number on Android and iOS
Tech news website Alphr recommends the following steps for concealing your contact details on an Android device:
- Launch the Phone app.
- Tap Calls in the Settings list.
- Then, select Additional Settings.
- Tap Caller ID and wait for the menu to load.
- Afterward, tap the Hide Number button.
Lifewire says you may hide your phone number when calling by adding “*67” before entering the number you’d like to contact.

- Open the Settings app.
- Next, scroll down and select Phone.
- Tap Show My Caller ID.
