Packworks, dGT.asia to promote sari-sari store tech upgrade at DigiCon 2024
MANILA, PHILIPPINES – Packworks and dGT.asia are set to highlight digital transformation for sari-sari stores at DigiCon 2024.
Packworks is a Filipino startup that offers a business-to-business (B2B) FMCG marketplace for these small businesses, while dGT.asia is a boutique consultancy firm.

Specifically, they will be participating in the panel discussion, “The distribution business evolution down to the sari-sari store.”
As the name suggests, they will discuss how the latest tech could benefit micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs).

Packworks Chief Platform Officer Hubert Yap elaborated on his vision to democratize tech access for underserved micro-retailers.

The Packworks platform enables over 270,000 micro-retail stores to digitize tasks like pricing, inventory management, and revenue tracking.
Packworks also empowers women who own 75 percent of sari-sari stores worldwide. As a result, this digital platform provides small businesses with tech that can improve daily operations.
DigiCon or Digital Congress will be held from October 15 to 16, 2024, in Newport City, Metro Manila. With the theme “REVOLUTION,” the annual event is set to assemble over 2,000 participants, providing them the opportunity to explore the latest digital innovations and strategies.
