For example, you asked, “What’s the difference in sleep-tracking features between a smart ring, smartwatch, and tracking mat?”

AI Mode’s Gemini 2.0 uses a multistep approach to make a plan. Then, it will search for information and adjust the plan based on the available data.

Google says it uses a “query fan-out” technique, which launches several related searches across subtopics to provide an easy-to-understand response.

Google says you may learn more by asking follow-up questions like, “What happens to your heart rate during deep sleep?”

In response, the AI will provide a simple answer with links to relevant content.

AI Mode is an experimental feature that will be available to select Google One AI Premium subscribers.
