Tech Roundup: Tonik upgrades, MOVE IT’s new pledge, SB19 for Xiaomi, and Canva AI updates

Time Deposit upgrades from Tonik

Starting off the Tech roundup with Tonik. Tonik customers can open Time Deposits of up to P250,000 per account with flat rates six percent for six months, seven percent for nine months, and eight percent for 12 months. 

Customers can create up to five active Time Deposits starting at P5,000 to access more investment opportunities within the Tonik app. The move to upgrade was made for Filipino customers to avail more accessible opportunities to save and invest.

The app’s UX boasts a simple design that gives customers ease in navigating their accounts. The app also shows real-time interest calculations and gives users complete control over rollover settings.

Canva expands with ChatGPT in new AI update

Lastly, in this tech roundup, ChatGPT users can now create design prompts that would tie to their Canva Brand Kit.

Canva’s expansion with ChatGPT comes after their release with Anthropic’s Claude to further grow the site’s AI ecosystem.
