XctN sweeps GL in a late-game comeback at DreamLeague Season 28

MANILA, Philippines – Execration (XctN) refused to give up the sweep in their opening match, February 18, 2026 against Gamer Legion (GL) at the DreamLeague Season 28, beating their opponents 2-0 after a late-game momentum.

Long game after long game, XctN found victory in Game 1 after 43 minutes. Dominating for most of the round, XctN achieved a 33-21 kill score. The scoreboard was led by

Jinn “Palos” Lamatao’s 9/4/16 KDA with Kez and Mark “Bob” Urbina’s 9/13/16 KDA with Puck.

However, in Game 2, GL was in an early-game streak. They led as much as 12 kills, 17-5 at the 18:32 mark. GL’s lead was quickly shattered when Palos began initiating and winning team fights that brought the score to a tie 19-19  by 35:01.

The kills and push by the XctN squad continued to conclude the match at a 20-26 score in 40 minutes. Palos ended the game with a 10/2/13 KDA with Dragon Knight.

This is XctN’s debut season in DreamLeague, while GL debuted and finished 17th-21st in Season 27.

Joining Palos and Bob in XctN are Justine Ryan “Tino” Grimaldo, Mark Jubert “Shanks” Redira, and Bryle Jacob “cml” Alvizo.

XctN will go against Team Falcons for their second match of the day.
