Marvel’s Wolverine launches September 15, Insomniac Games confirms
Marvel’s Wolverine is set to release on the PS5 on September 15, 2026, according to Insomniac Games on X.
Marvel’s Wolverine was initially announced in The Game Awards 2021. The setting will share the same universe as the Marvel’s Spider-Man franchise.
Recovering from the ransomware attack
In December 2023, several images of Marvel’s Wolverine, as well as other developing projects were leaked after a massive Rhysidia ransomware attack.

Insomniac Games thanked fans in a statement during the event and expressed their anger and distress over the experience employee information was also included in the breach.
