First major expansion for Where Winds Meet to release on March 6
MANILA, Philippines – Where Winds Meet gets its first major expansion, Hexi, four months after its global release. Hexi’s first chapter will be available on March 6 for free.
Hexi will include three major maps, around 20 sub-regions, 11 unique bosses, seven Jianghu Legacies, new side quests, and more additional content.
New narratives, exploration, and gameplay
Hexi consists of three chapters. Chapter 1, Jade Gate Pass, introduces a new narrative and landscape to the massive world of Where Winds Meet.
A glimpse into China’s Tang Dynasty, players will dive deep into its rich history while exploring a vast desert landscape.
Players will get the opportunity to inhabit characters from that era, witness stories through another’s perspective, and be welcomed to a fresh gameplay experience.
Where Winds Meet developers, Everstone Studio, wanted to continue pushing the boundaries with this expansion. This is highlighted by introducing a new campaign, White-Crown City, and its campaign boss, Guo Xin.
A roaming world boss, The Wandering Ark, will also be included in the expansion. The new boss, as its name implies, will not be tied to a specific location. The combat against the beast will involve targeting weak points and shifting from various attack styles.
The first chapter will also include two new Martial Art styles. The Spring Dreamscape uses an Umbrella, while focusing on its agility and tight combos. Meanwhile, Fleeting Clouds uses rope darts that focus on AOE attacks.
The Hexi expansion is available for pre-download.
Where Winds Meet was released globally in November 2025. It is available for PC, PlayStation, and mobile.
