MVP offers free calls for Filipinos on SMART and PLDT in Middle East
MANILA, Philippines – PLDT Chairman Manny Pangilinan has announced on X that both PLDT and SMART will offer free calls to the Philippines from Filipinos in Iran, Israel, Iraq, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, UAE, and Saudi Arabia through the TinBo app which makes use of a Smart Virtual Number.

He added that subscribers of PLDT, Smart, and TNT in the Philippines will be able to call their loved ones free of charge until March 7 2026, pending the need for an extension. Apart from this, the Smart crisis hotline (+63288457799) is also available, which is both free and open 24 hours.
