Pinoy game Until Then gets new DLC

Until Then is a surprise and wonderful Pinoy slice of life visual novel game that was released in 2024. Set in the fictional city of Liamson in the NCR region, the game takes players on a memorable and cathartic experience as high school student Mark Borja tackles love, school, loss, and growing up in this masterpiece. It’s every bit a slice of life and nostalgia. Until Then, created by Filipino indie studio Polychroma Studios, is finally getting its first ever DLC later this year.  

The Afterimages DLC will feature two new chapters that focuses on Sophia, while she travels back to her home to reconnect with her past, and Mark, as he meets a new love interest and finds an old friend. The stories will once again reinforce what it means to carry on in the face of absence. The DLC will introduce fresh minigames from tarot to baking, interact with engaging in-game phone apps for dating and video content, and run into beloved characters, old and new, across the two new chapters of gameplay.

Until Then is a true love letter to people who grew up in the Philippines and is a worthwhile experience for anyone who just wants to experience Filipino culture and landscapes. The game is available on PC via Steam, Xbox, PlayStation, and the Nintendo Switch. The game also has a free demo which you can download on Steam.
