OAS, NAOS eliminated in VCL SEA 2026 Split 1

Oasis Gaming (OAS) fell to Thailand’s 555 after a three-game Lower Bracket Quarter Finals match on March 22, 2026 at the VALORANT Challengers EA SEA 2026 Split 1.

The Lower Bracket Quarter Finals

The challenge against 555 began early after OAS lost in the first map, 13-15.

Despite OAS picking Breeze, they could not find an answer to 555’s Napatr “canady” Worajak and Natthanon “endoist” Ammare after heading to overtime.

Endoist led the Thai squad with 28 kills and a KAST of 89-percent and ADR of 189 with Jett.

However, in 555’s map pick, Haven, the tables somehow turned as OAS flipped the story to end Game 2 at 13-5.

Hope lit up for the Philippines as Mark Anthony “marky” Tuling and Michael Andre “whitecat” Yuzon led the assault.

whitecat closed the game with 23 kills, 94-percent KAST and 335 ACS, while marky follows close with 21 kills and a 303 ACS.

Jon Michael “tesseract” Piga was on-point in this game as he recorded a 45-percent HS in 16 kills.

A heart-stopping decider game

The best-of-three match would close at the decider map in Split, where 555 led for most of the rounds.

Clutch plays by whitecat and Christian “ZYND” Lopez from rounds 28-30 gave OAS a fighting chance against 555, but the momentum faded when 555 hit match point, 12-8.

OAS were unable to stop the attacking 555, as Thanachart “Surf” Rungapajaratkul unleashed a well-timed Viper’s Pit in B site.

The remaining Filipino squad will fall at 5th-6th place and earning $2,500 and 1 SEA point.

OAS eliminating NAOS in LB Round 1

Before the top 8 finish, OAS first battled NAOS at the Lower Bracket Round 1.

OAS fell to Motiv Esports, while NAOS lost to Fancy United that brought them against each other at the lower brackets.

After three games, the Philippine Qualifier Grand Finals rematch concluded as NAOS ended their campaign at 7th to 8th place and took home $2,000.

What’s next at VCL Challengers SEA Split 1?

Motiv Esports and Thailand’s Sharper Esport will battle it out at the Upper Bracket Final on March 27.

Meanwhile, 555 awaits the winner between Fancy United and Trinity that’s ongoing as of writing.
