AirDrop is now compatible with Samsung QuickShare

It is now easier to share files between an iPhone and a Samsung phone.

Samsung has recently announced an update to its QuickShare file sharing service that now allows compatibility with AirDrop file sharing on iOS. This now makes it easier to share files across an iPhone and a Samsung S26 device. Samsung has said that other models will be having this feature in the future.

The update has already started rolling out since March 23 in South Korea and other countries will follow soon.

To access AirDrop file sharing on a Samsung device, simply go to Settings -> Connected Devices -> Quick Share -> Share with Apple Devices (this will be added as the update refreshes).
