Phone users can stay connected to their favorite social networking sites like Twitter and Facebook, said Sony Ericsson marketing manager Patrick Larraga during their “Glee”-inspired launch for the new products.

Purchase of specially marked Walkman phones will also entitle buyers to exclusive Glee T-shirts.

Sound artist Jing Garcia demonstrated how to create your own music in the W8 phone simply by sliding your fingers through the touch screen.

“You can also create any kind of music that you like,” he said.

The W8 has a 3.2 megapixel camera capable of directly uploading pictures on Facebook. It also has video recording.

“This is for easy downloading of applications from the Android market,” said Larraga.
