Hinge Inquirer magazines available in digital edition
The titles of Hinge Inquirer, the magazine arm of the Inquirer Group, are now on the Inquirer Digital Edition, the group’s premium electronic newsstand for tablets, desktop PCs and smartphones.
Lifestyle magazines Cocoon and Look, regionally targeted magazines Northern Living, Southern Living and Urban Living, food titles Baking Press and F&B World, sports and fitness magazine MultiSport, travel magazine Turista, and the electronic game title Game! can be viewed exactly as they appear in print on the Apple iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch and Android tablets and smartphones.
“We’re excited to have our magazine titles available on the Inquirer Group’s digital edition newsstand as tablets and mobile devices are a promising new market for magazines and other print titles,” said Poch Bermudez, president and publisher of Hinge Inquirer Publications, which recently won an award at the Asian Publishing Convention in Bangkok for its Targeted Multimedia Platform business model.
The Hinge titles, except for Cocoon and Look, are free to all annual digital subscribers of the Philippine Daily Inquirer, Bandera or Cebu Daily News, as well as subscribers to the annual, all-titles plan.
Cocoon and Look are free to digital subscribers of the Philippine Daily Inquirer regardless of length of subscription.
Subscribers enjoy complete access to the full content of an Inquirer publication (only a selection of stories and content are posted online on the Inquirer Group website, Inquirer.net), the convenience of accessing their content seamlessly on multiple devices, and interactive features such as zoom, Twitter, Facebook and e-mail sharing.
Subscribers can also set up e-mail alerts whenever a given name, organization or topic is mentioned in any title on the Inquirer Digital Edition newsstand.
