Netizens tweet ‘BagyoMoment’ as ‘Glenda’ disrupts Internet

MANILA, Philippines—Netizens took to Twitter to express their frustration over not being able surf the Internet or use their gadgets due to the power outage caused by the onslaught of Typhoon “Glenda” (international name: Rammasun) across the country, including Metro Manila, Wednesday.

Thus started a trend and hashtag #BagyoMoments101 was born.

Still, there was some rejoicing over the suspension of classes due to the typhoon although college students could not relate to the feeling as they expressed dismay for being excluded from the list.
