Philippine number one mobile brand Globe Telecom boosts digital experience at the Cobra Energy Drink Ironman 70.3 Philippines. The telco will power connectivity to ensure that organizers, athletes, media and spectators can have a wonderful online experience which they can share with the rest of the world.
Event participants and spectators alike will be able to share posts, tweet, take photos and upload videos of their favorite triathletes and their Ironman experiences through Globe Telecom’s LTE network. Athletes can also stream their preferred music playlists which help them get psyched up, pace and push through in finishing the race.

Ironman 70.3 is an international triathlon competition with 88 races to take place within the 2015-2016-race schedule. The event will take place at Shangri-La Mactan, Cebu on August 2, 2015 with 2,500 athletes from 52 different countries around the world. It offers a unique racing opportunity to old and aspiring triathletes at it challenges them to prove their mettle in completing the three major endurance sports- swimming, biking, and running. Ironman 70.3 consists of a 1.9 km Swim, 90 km bike, and the 21 km run.
