Redefining ‘hands-free’

MANILA, Philippines—How do you simplify your life when multitasking has become a norm in today’s “techie world”? With the different gadgets one can tinker with, having two hands may no longer be enough.

In the case of the more sophisticated mobile phones now available in the market, apart from making phone calls, one can also send and receive text messages and e-mails, check the Internet and even play online games with these devices.

The solution, according to China-based Hisense, can be found in something as small as your thumb: a bluetooth headset. The device will enable a user to communicate wirelessly, effectively freeing your hands for other tasks.

Hisense, a global brand recognized for its multimedia, telecommunications and information technology solutions, recently launched a new line of Bluetooth mobile accessories ranging from multipoint mono Bluetooth headsets, stereo Bluetooth headsets, solar-powered hands-free car kits and portable solar-powered chargers.

According to Ehud Shchori, accessories division director for Hisense, the company’s products will give customers that “total user experience,” enhanced by technology, design, fashion, wearability and innovation.

“We want to meet consumer needs with thoughtful solutions integrated in every product detail and feature. We aim for products to perform at its best and, overall, improve the quality of life of our customers,” Shchori explained.

While bluetooth devices are not entirely new in the world of gadgets, the use of such accessories have been gaining ground in the local market.

Some of the devices recently launched were the HB200M mini headset, which has a multipoint feature, and the HB200S. These devices, which come with a magnetic clip and allows users to wear the headset with ease, are sleek, lightweight and discreet.

The HB400C clip allows a user to enjoy listening to music with wireless ease. It is also compatible with any device with bluetooth stereo streaming capability. Similarly, the HB440H Hi-Fi stereo also offers amazing sound with its Hi-Fi frequency response speakers, allowing its user to experience the power of wireless music and calls.

The HB650S Car Kits, with its full duplex sound quality technology, allows a user to engage in a hands-free conversation while driving. Its echo free and noise reduction features further enhance call quality.

For the fitness enthusiast, an ergonomic wireless handset like the HB420S Sport enables one to listen to a workout music playlist while taking calls.

Another plus, according to Shchori, is that all the Hisense bluetooth mono headsets and car kits can pair up to eight mobile devices, allowing the user to connect with two phones simultaneously, even with different network providers.
