‘AlDub’ mobile game figures strong on Apple’s App Store

The phenomenal split-screen love team of actors Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza or “Yaya Dub” has taken on a new level as a free mobile game inspired by the “Eat Bulaga” duo’s “KalyeSerye” becomes one of the most downloaded applications in the country over the past days.

“AlDub Game,” which is developed by a certain Wilson Dayot, currently ranks 13th on App Store’s top charts in the Philippines, ahead of GrabTaxi and Clash of Clans.

The game has received a 96-percent rating from reviewers.

“Aldub Nation, the game you’ve been waiting for is here! Let’s play! It’s fun and simple!” the game description read. “A proud Pinoy game that you can play offline or online with friends or with anybody.”

“Collect some hearts-love points and unlock characters! You can play with different characters from your favorite GMA 7 Eat Bulaga’s Kalyeserye,” it added.

Playable characters include Alden, Yaya Dub, Frankie Arinoli, Lola Nidora, and Duhrizz, among others.

“Simple but not easy! Level up your skills, patience is a virtue. It’s challenging. Make your way to the top with Online Leaderboard Rankings!” the description added.

The game requires iOS 6.0 or later versions, and is compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch. YG/RC
