MEDIA5 Corporation and Brand New Media (BNM) on Thursday launched TV4ME.ph, an online lifestyle network which features videos on various topics that Filipinos love such as food, fashion, home, and health and wellness.

TV5 Sports head and retired basketball coach Chot Reyes said the collaboration was aimed at finding different and more innovative ways of creating and sharing content in the digital platform.

“We wanted to blaze the trail towards something different, something new, something that has never been done before. That’s why we crafted this partnership with BNM,” Reyes said during the launch of TV4ME.ph.

“It started as a plan, there was nothing here months ago, but now we’re so proud to launch it. We hope you like it as well, because we poured in a lot of effort, we poured in a lot of time, and God knows how much sweat has been poured into the project,” he added.

BNM managing director Mike Constantino assured users of a seamless browsing and viewing experience regardless of medium, as the site is mobile-optimized.

While saying that some content will come from BNM’s studios, Constantino said they are already working on producing more local content that more Filipinos can relate to.

“BNM is a global business. We have offices in the United States, Europe, and in Southeast Asia. Some of the content you see will be from those studios, but then we’ve been shooting localized content,” Constantino said.

Constantino said what makes the video content in TV4ME.ph different is the local perspective that they employ.

“It’s just really just for online and mobile. If you notice that’s kind of what makes TV4MEPH different because anyone can produce a cable show and put it on TV, but not anyone can produce highly helpful engaging 2-minute videos that people can consume anytime and on any device,” Constantino said.

“We also have a lot of how to’s and helpful videos, videos how to do hair, how to makeup, and it’s all in a local perspective. It’s really made for Filipinos,” he added.
