ePLDT cited as top Microsoft 365 CSP
Philippine Long Distance Telephone Co. said its unit, ePLDT, was recognized as the leading Microsoft Office 365 Cloud Solutions Provider (CSP) among local partners in the country. The unit likewise ranks fifth CSP in the Asia Pacific region, PLDT said in a statement.
ePLDT, which enables PLDT business units PLDT Alpha Enterprise and SME Nation come up with top-of-the-line digital business solutions for their respective markets, was recognized as a top performer in the Microsoft Office 365 CSP program this year based on customer uptake for its cloud services.
That means it is a leading driver for cloud growth among emerging markets and the Asia Pacific, ePLDT said.
“We’ve already seen the interest and need among local enterprises in utilizing the advantages of integrating cloud technologies into their operations,” ePLDT Group chief operating officer Nerisse Ramos said in the statement.
Since ePLDT partnered with Microsoft as Cloud solutions provider this year, PLDT has been servicing the needs of enterprises for an end-to-end cloud solutions partner through its PLDT Cloud offerings.
“The rising demand for cloud and mobility inspired us to steer businesses toward transformation,” Microsoft Philippines general manager Karrie Ilagan said in the same statement.
“Our partnership with ePLDT has enabled us to provide a range of solutions to enable customers to rewire their businesses for today’s Mobile-first, Cloud-first world,” Ilagan added.
PLDT has supported the adoption of cloud services among leading businesses from various industries such as the business process outsourcing, tourism sector, retail, government, as well as the MSME sector (micro, small, and medium enterprise).
