WATCH: Real life hoverboard, ’Flyboard Air’ soars above water
Forget those so-called ‘hoverboards’ on wheels—outdoor recreation manufacturer Zapata Sports just released a fully operational, air-gliding machine called ’Flyboard Air’, comparable to that of Marthy McFly’s in the movie ‘Back to the Future’.
A one-minute-twenty-eight second clip uploaded on YouTube last week showed the footage of the gravity-defying device in action.

It could also hit speeds ranging at 93.2 miles per hour, while staying aloft for about 10 minutes at a time.
The test shown on video, however, recorded the device at just 35 mph for just under 4 minutes of air-time, with altitudes far below than 10,000 feet.

As of this story’s writing, it’s still undetermined when the product could potentially be available in the market or how much it may cost. Khristian Ibarrola, INQUIRER.net
