After news about Apple pulling out non-Retina Macbook Pros from shops came out, the company has official announced that Thunderbolt monitors will be discontinued.

An Apple spokesperson said, though, that the Thunderbolt monitors would still be made available through Apple.com and from retail stores that still have stocks, The Next Web reported.

In the meantime, the company is encouraging customers to shop around for third-party options. Alfred Bayle
