LOOK: Duterte visits wake of netizen’s grandma
Despite his hectic schedule, President-elect Rodrigo Duterte made time to visit a grandmother of a netizen days before his inauguration tomorrow, June 30.
Viral photos of Duterte in his visit to the funeral in Davao were uploaded by user Elades on social media site Reddit.
In the caption, Elades managed to “shake his hand,” noting that Duterte “seemed down to earth, Good first impression.”
“Anyway, I’m a cynic in regards to anything Duterte. But 2 days before his inauguration he finds the time to visit my lola and give her some obligatory flowers. I get why people love him so much. Especially here in Davao,” Elades said.
Duterte visited the resident’s wake, which happened to be beside the wake of the father of incoming Department of Health Secretary Paulyn Jean Rosell-Ubial at the Cosmopolitan Memorial Chapels. Gianna Francesca Catolico
